Can Happy Dog and Happy Bones be shipped?

No. Happy Dog and Happy Bones are sold frozen, so they are available for local pickup or local delivery only.

Where do you deliver?

We currently deliver within 25 miles of our North Richland Hills location.

Orders within 10 miles require a $25 minimum, and orders between 10 and 25 miles require a $50 minimum. Delivery is free on orders of $75 or more. Smaller qualifying orders have a $5 or $10 delivery fee, depending on distance.

How is Happy Dog packaged?

We make Happy Dog in batches and freeze it in 2-ounce portions. Each portion is approximately ¼ cup. The portions are bagged according to the size ordered: 16 ounces, 32 ounces, or 64 ounces.

How should I store Happy Dog?

Keep Happy Dog frozen until you are ready to use it. Thaw the amount needed, keep thawed food refrigerated, and use it within one week.

Is Happy Dog nutritionally complete?

Happy Dog Homemade Dog Food with Turkey and Sweet Potato is formulated to meet the nutritional levels established by the AAFCO Dog Food Nutrient Profiles for all life stages.

Feeding amounts are guidelines and may need to be adjusted depending on your dog’s age, size, weight, and activity level.

How should I store and serve Happy Bones?

Keep Happy Bones frozen until you are ready to use it. After thawing, keep it refrigerated and use it within seven days.

The natural tallow cap on top is normal and is intentionally left with the broth.

How much Happy Bones should I give my dog?

Our suggested amount is 2 tablespoons daily for every 10 pounds of body weight, or as desired. Happy Bones is intended for intermittent or supplemental feeding.

How should I store my tallow products?

Store tallow products in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Refrigeration is recommended during warm weather or if you prefer a firmer texture.

What if my tallow product melts during shipping?

During warm weather, we take extra precautions to help protect tallow products in transit. Even with those precautions, natural tallow may soften or melt when exposed to high temperatures.

If this happens, keep the container closed and upright and place it in the refrigerator for approximately 20–30 minutes, or until firm. Whipped tallow may become denser and may not return to its original fluffy texture, but it can still be used if the container remained sealed and did not leak.

If your package arrives broken, unsealed, or leaking significantly, please contact us within 48 hours and include photographs of the product and packaging.

Are your products made in small batches?

Yes. We make our products in small batches and are involved in every part of the process. Because of this, availability may vary from time to time.

Do you use these products with your own pets and family?

Yes. Happy Dog is the same food our own dogs eat, and we make our products with ingredients we feel good about using for our own pets and family.
